Ode to the Ketchup Packets

You can tell I've been doing lots of cooking lately! David has been so busy at the house, it's easier just to grab something for the girls and then run something to 544 for David. We've gotten quite a collection of ketchup packets in guess what? A drink tray! Keslynne thought it was quite humorous that we already have a make-shift pantry at the new house!

Lots of HVAC materials that need to be installed!

More lights!

And the keystones are FINALLY the correct color brown!  David was so glad he got to do his most favorite job, painting, twice!

Over a month's worth of progress...

So much has been happening at 544 Verdae!  The plumbing is roughed in, windows and doors are in, HVAC is mapped out, garage floor and front porch concrete has been poured, and the "resident electricans" are hard at work!  Our brick masons have completed the back side of the house, but we hit a little snag with the house wrap inspection and had to take a break.  We've passed our inspection and they'll be back soon to finish up.  The fun stuff is happening now...in the last few weeks I've been to the tile and lighting store.  It's pretty fun picking out all the "finish" work that make all this wood, concrete, and metal actually look like our home!
