A few days after Christmas, I spent the day in Greenville shopping with my best friend, Molly. When we got back to Spartanburg, David called and asked me to stop by and see the stone that our masons had begun that morning. We drove up to the most awful looking exterior stone you've ever seen! The colors were pretty and the masons did a great job, but the stone was all wrong! It was giant, round stones that resembled a fireplace surround from the 1970s. However, Hosea came to the rescue - at 9:00 pm that is and scraped the stone off the wall! After 3 or 4 trips back to Greer to the stone yard, our new stone was delivered and Hosea has completed the wall, front of porch and steps, and columns. The flat stone for the porch is being held up in Tennessee - topped with snow and ice. We're praying for lots of dry and sunny days until we get all moved in!
